hey there
i currently have a mountain bike (lol) but i think it looks kinda silly, cycling around on a mountain bike when i’m clearly on the road. so i found out about these fixed bikes. i am not used to bikes without brakes, in fact havent been on one before. is it dangerous? i normally cycle around the neighbourhood, so it’s not rare that there are no cars. do i have to have skills of stopping the bike by pulling it up like horse? hahaha lol hope you can help. thanks!

It might look a bit odd using a mountain bike frame for a fixed gear, but we’ve seen our fair share of conversion bikes. You just need good components for the bike. And if you’re not confident about skid-stopping just yet, install brakes. If you have more questions though, you can drop by a note on the forum, most of the forum users are more than free to answer any doubts. Or you can also drop by Grafa. The shop is at Subang SS15. They’re open everyday except Wednesday from 12pm to 9pm.
